Tova is a psychotherapist and a child survivor of Auschwitz. We invited her to a theater for a personal viewing of Sam’s story asking for her unique analysis. Tova delivers life changing insights into Sam’s journey. She also shared details of her own horrific experience that has contributed to her career approach and life attitude in powerful ways.
Maria Reflections: Analysis with Psychologist Melissa Laracuenta
Maria and Melissa are invited to a screening of Maria’s segment. This was the first time Maria experienced her story on film and she opens emotionally revealing aspects of her relationship with her mom we did not hear in the film.
Melissa a Hispanic Psychologist, shares enlightening thoughts about Maria’s journey and inner self that contributed to her ability to Survive, Thrive and Give Back.

Paying it Forward: A Cathy Hughes Story
As Cathy shares in the full-length documentary, “The more you give, the more you will receive”. Here she shares a beautiful story of an encounter with a small grocery store clerk who had no idea who Cathy is. One simple gesture had the potential to change the clerk’s life forever.
